Physics-informed AI services

Working with 3D capture, LiDAR, or synchronized sensors?

Start with a bounded capture assessment, an integration diagnostic, or a custom capture rig.

Representative Problems

Typical engineering questions where simulation, controls, and intelligent systems must work together.

  • Reduced-order models for embedded systems

  • UAV dynamics and control validation

  • Coupled multiphysics simulation workflows

  • Physics-informed ML for sparse engineering data

  • Estimation and sensor fusion systems

  • Camera, LiDAR, IMU, and GNSS time synchronization

Why Numeriworks

Most providers specialize in simulation, controls, or AI. Numeriworks integrates all three in one workflow.

How an engagement works

Small, paid first steps with written deliverables, so you can decide with evidence before committing to larger work.

  1. Step 1

    Introductory conversation

Discuss the technical problem, current constraints, and when a decision is needed. We say plainly whether Numeriworks is a good fit.

  2. Step 2

    Diagnostic or feasibility assessment

A bounded, paid first step with a written deliverable: a failure review, method comparison, risk register, or capture specification, plus a recommended next scope.

  3. Step 3

    Pilot or implementation sprint

Typically two to six weeks against a defined deliverable, such as firmware, a ROS 2 node, a calibration procedure, a simulation study, or a site pilot, with agreed acceptance tests.

  4. Step 4

    Handoff or continued support

Documentation, tests, and data handed to your team, with optional follow-on work, repeat capture, or advisory support.

Mini Case Studies

Short examples of project patterns and outcomes.

Large-deformation thermomechanical simulation

Built a high-fidelity model for deformation and heat transfer in a manufacturing process. The result reduced trial-and-error prototyping and improved confidence before plant tests.

Embedded ML system in manufacturing

Designed a model pipeline for constrained edge deployment on production equipment. The system improved anomaly detection without requiring a large data collection program.

Hybrid simulation and control architecture

Connected plant simulation with real-time control logic for robotics integration. The team validated controller behavior earlier and shortened integration cycles.

Frequently asked questions

What does Numeriworks do?

Numeriworks is a technical consultancy in Calgary, Alberta. It helps robotics, industrial, aerospace, and manufacturing teams model, measure, and validate physical systems. Work covers multiphysics simulation and reduced-order models, state estimation and control, physics-informed machine learning, multi-sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GNSS, embedded timing, and ROS 2), and scoped 3D capture workflows for industrial sites.

Where does Numeriworks work?

Numeriworks is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Site capture and field integration work focuses on Alberta and Western Canada. Simulation, software, and advisory work can be delivered remotely.

How does an engagement with Numeriworks start?

With a short conversation about the technical problem, its constraints, and when a decision is needed. If there is a fit, the first paid step is usually a bounded diagnostic or feasibility assessment with a written deliverable. A pilot or implementation sprint with agreed acceptance tests can follow. Diagnostics are fixed-fee. A spatial workflow diagnostic starts at CAD 2,000 and a sensor integration diagnostic at CAD 3,000, before tax and travel. Pilots and implementation sprints are quoted from a written scope once the diagnostic has defined the work.

Does Numeriworks provide legal land surveys?

No. Legal and certified survey deliverables require an appropriately licensed survey professional; in Alberta, that is an Alberta Land Surveyor. Numeriworks scopes and produces 3D data with documented quality, and involves a licensed surveyor when a project requires certified output.

Can I buy the Numeriworks capture rig?

Yes. Numeriworks custom-develops a capture rig for your application, delivered as a project: the hardware with its supporting firmware and software. Tell us what you need to capture and where.

Ready to scope your project?

Share your technical objective, constraints, and current bottlenecks. We will define whether the problem is a fit and outline a practical first phase.
